My Physical Rehab was founded on a desire to improve the management and care of people and their health. Our evidence-based holistic approach considers all complexities of pain. Movement patterns, health conditions and life-style behaviours are all factors that can contribute to your pain or dysfunction. Let us help you get back doing the things you love.
Holistic seems to be the 'hot' word going around at the moment. But what exactly does it mean?Traditional methods of physical therapy have focused only on the presenting issue. This type of 'focused-lens' approach does not consider the rest of the body that may (and probably is) contributing to your pain or movement incapabilities. At My Physical Rehab, we look at the body as a whole, examining up and down the chain to get to the root cause of the problem. We believe this approach will get you back doing the things you love sooner.
Our team of professionals pride themselves in keeping up-to-date with the latest research of movement therapy. We understand that each individual is different and there is not a 'one size fits all' movement program to help everybody. Therefore, it is important to us to continue learning and expanding our knowledge so we can adapt to your specific needs and goals.
We believe it is critical to your benefit that we spend more time getting to know you, your body and lifestyle in order to create the change necessary to see improvement. We want to educate you and provide you with the tools and knowledge in order for you to leave your consultation confident that you can continue your rehabilitation at home.
