We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented receptionist to join our growing team at My Physical Rehab. Our clinic focuses on musculoskeletal rehabilitation and holistic health and wellness practices, and we are passionate about providing exceptional care to our clients.
As our first receptionist, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with practitioners and contribute to the growth of the clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Manage billing and invoicing for client appointments
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for multiple health practitioners
- Handle enquiries and bookings via phone calls and emails
- Greet clients and ensure they feel welcome and supported upon arrival
- Maintain up-to-date operations, systems, and patient details
- Process payments using EFTPOS and HICAPS
- Assist with basic housekeeping duties and stocktake management
- Support practitioners with administrative tasks and work closely with them to ensure smooth clinic operations
- Help manage and create content for the clinic’s social media channels
- Build strong relationships with clients and help foster a positive clinic atmosphere
Requirements:
- Experience in billing, scheduling, and customer service (preferably in a healthcare or allied health setting)
- Familiarity with EFTPOS and HICAPS payment systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in using scheduling and billing software (experience with health clinic systems is a plus)
- A customer-focused attitude with a bubbly, energetic personality that makes others feel supported and encouraged
- Ability to manage social media content and engagement
- Great relationship-building skills with both clients and practitioners
